How often should I get my wheel alignment done?
This should be checked about once per year. Here at Davis GMC Buick in Medicine Hat, we measure tire treads every oil change for you, so if you do need an alignment we can recommend it to you.
How do I know if I need a wheel alignment?
If your wheels are starting to wear unevenly, it is most likely time. You can check this yourself by measuring the inner tire tread and the outer tread on both tires. It can also be noticed if your vehicle is pulling to once side or the other while driving.
Are your tires cupping or wearing unevenly?
Wheel Alignment should be checked once a year – misaligned tires will drag instead of roll freely. This will increase fuel consumption and reduce the life of your tires and cause problems with the vehicles handling and ride.
