Bruno Cybertowicz Retirement
The management and staff of Davis GMC Buick would like to thank Bruno Cybertowicz for his many years of valued service and congratulate him on his retirement. Bruno began his career in the automotive industry in 1960 working at such dealerships as Jack Stephenson Pontiac Buick on Maple Avenue (1964), Big M Lincoln Mercury (1971), Glanville Ford (1976), Rodeo Ford (1987) and finally Sorensen Pontiac Buick (1987), which is now Davis Buick GMC. In 1969 he earned his Mechanics papers, which made him a true asset to his employers and customers.
Bruno showed strong leadership through dedication to his customers and the dealership. The younger members of our sales team have greatly benefited from his shared wealth of experience, which was key to the success of Davis GMC Buick over the past years.
When asked what he will miss the most about working here he simply stated it was the staff, most specifically Tim Davis. “Tim is the best boss I’ve ever had. He treated me very well and gave me the freedoms I needed.”, said Bruno. He takes away fond memories of staff events and contests like throwing pies at the managers and steak & beans nights.
In his retirement Bruno is looking forward to catching up with a few things around the house, then is off traveling where he will be doing more of his favorite pastimes like fishing, golfing, skeet shooting, motor biking and more. Bruno usually heads south for 4 to 6 weeks each Winter, but it is fair to say that he’ll be extending that usual amount of time for future travels.
Bruno would like to say thank you to his customers for being so loyal and great to work with. He has had the opportunity to sell to 3 generations of Medicine Hat families, and has even sold more than 20 units to a single repeat customer over his years in the industry.
We wish you the best in your future endeavors, Bruno. Retirement will surely offer you many new opportunities, which we know you will embrace wholeheartedly, just as you did at Davis GMC Buick. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, it’s much appreciated and we shall miss working with you.
