Well folks this long awaited day is finally upon us – Last night at 6:00 our very first 20120 Buick Verano was delivered to the dealership!! The car is currently in the process of being inspected and cleaned, after which we’ll post some pictures, but for now we’ll go over some highlights of our new luxury compact sedan.
The Verano is based on the Buick Excelle – one of the best selling luxury cars in China – and built on the same platform as the Chevy Cruze. However the similarities with the Cruze end at the platform – The Verano was built with a sculpted design, luxurious, extremely quiet interior, with advanced connectivity and user friendly technology. Using Buick’s signature Quiettuning Technology, the Verano has proven itself to be the quietest car in its class. They have acheived this with extra thick acoustic laminated glass, duel-density carpet, premium door sealing, liquid sound deadeners, and tires and wheels specifically desighned to counteract NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness.)
Inside, the Verano boasts a 7-inch color touchscreen radio with Buick IntelliLink, Bluetooth, USB, streaming audio, and available connectivity to the smartphone app Stitcher Radio. IntelliLink is one of the greatest triumphs Buick has come out with in recent years – it uses Bluetooth connectivity to integrate with your smartphone and allows control and full functionality of your phonebook, streaming audio, enhanced voice recognition and control of USB connected devices.
We’ve got 2 more Verano’s on their way and they should be landing here later this week – come in and have a look for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
