2013 Acadia Unveiled
Today at the Chicago Auto Show GMC unveiled its refresher on the Acadia model coming in 2013. Designers gave the big crossover a slight redo with a new front valance, headlight details and new interior materials.
Up front the grille was given a more upright design, with a prominent three-bar grille sitting prominently in the center (Reminiscent of the Granite and All-Terrain HD Concepts) Giving the Acadia a more premium look is all new diffused LED running lamps, which come standard on all models, with optional HID headlamps. Other exterior changes include wrap-around rear glass and a refined rear spoiler, as well as new patterns for the 18 and 19 inch wheels.
The Acadia’s interior will also upgraded soft-touch materials, with french stitching and rd ambient lighting on the dashboard. SLT models will also get aluminum accents on the console, doors, and dash. The 2013 model will also come standard with GMC’s Color Touch Radio, which was recently introduced on the 2012 Terrain. The Color Touch Radio is also available with IntelliLink which allows seamless integration with smartphones as a hands free interface.
